Every big or small decision I have made in life has always ended in me asking just that, WTF just happened? And, how the hell did I survive that idiocy? You can call it a self help advice on what happens when you continually make bad decisions. I can't tell you how to live your 
life well or even happily. What I can do is tell you what happens when you make the worst choice you ever could. Dramatic? Well, yes, I am. Welcome to high school... or more like, my personal hell. Where I'll be judged on my appearance. Where the drama will fill my head with anxiety. Where I should be worrying about schoolwork, but I sorta won't. Where I probably won't love the people around me. Where my heart will be broken multiple times. Where I will fail the big test I studied for all night. Where I will spend most of my day wishing I was elsewhere. Where I will make friends and enemies. Where I will get into fights and learn painful lessons. Where six valuable hours of my day will be wasted. Where I will see a lot of people that I really don't want to see. Life takes you to mysterious places. I thought I knew all there was to know, but apparently, I've been living a lie. And yes, it's crazy. Who knew that I would find out like that? Who knew? I sure as hell didn't. Life is really messed up sometimes. Why did this happen to me? In fact, what else is there to know? Is my name really mine? Am I really seventeen years old? At this point, I don't even know who I am. Who am I? I am alone. In need of answers. Will I ever get them? How far is anyone really to go for answers? I mean, what would you do? Where would you go? Who do you turn to? I need answers. How do I get them? Life is painful and deceptive. It is filled with hate, rage, and lies. Why can't that change? Why do people lie? Is it for protection? Who are you protecting me from? So many questions. Very little answers. So again I ask you, what are we really to do when someone is being deceptive?

I gave the best of myself to someone who didn't have anything to lose. I didn't know how to avoid my lover's toxic and abusive flames. My lover's twisted words were like a maze inside of my head that I couldn't escape. Sadly, my lover's actions hypnotized my thoughts and paralyzed my thinking. I learned the hard way that love isn't leaning in for a kiss, and a fist meets you halfway. Love isn't being a punching bag because someone decided they wanted to beat on you today. Love isn't saying I love you just because someone wants to keep you to themselves. I tried to be there for my lover, but I learned it is impossible to fix the broken pieces when the glass has shattered. There will always be pieces that are not repairable. However, I kept going right back to the person who I needed to walk away from. I was afraid, and I wasn't brave enough to wake up from this nightmare! I made the choice to suffer when life is meant to be lived and enjoyed. Will I find the courage to know my worth and know that I deserve better than the distasteful lies that are whispered in my ears? Will I have the strength to fight my insecurities? Will, I set myself free, or will I let my love be the death of me?

There's not a lot that can freak me out in this world. Only large animals with sharp claws, too many people touching me, bullies, hives, horror movies, sitting underneath fans or lights or anything that dangles from a ceiling, glass or wooden bridges, my mother, mosquitoes, public situations, taking a shower with nobody in the house, taking a shower with too many people in the house and crocks. Oh, and zombies. Zombies is definitely on that list. It's almost a shame too, that I have to race through a city packed full of them to find my missing family. Packed full of zombies, by the way, not crocks. (Although I don't know which situation is worse.) Now I have to not only keep my feeble body alive, but also protect (or be protected by) my two best friends in the entire world as we all try to survive in a city packed with the Dead.
