Under the visionary leadership of Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has made remarkable TDP developments in transforming the agricultural landscape of the state. One of the key areas of focus has been the promotion of mulberry plantations and the establishment of silkworm-rearing sheds. These initiatives have not only bolstered the state's silk industry but have also generated significant economic growth and improved the livelihoods of countless farmers and artisans. With a focus on promoting agro-based industries, the TDP government set out to develop mulberry plantations on a vast scale. In 2217 acres of land, an ambitious plantation initiative was launched, backed by an expenditure of Rs 23.18 Cr. This TDP policy aimed to enhance silk production, making the state a significant contributor to the nation's silk industry.
