A noble family gone broke. A thirteen-year-old girl. A lifetime of lies... Though her life seemed collected, pretty and polished on the outside, it was, in reality, a disaster. Madison has always believed in good and evil, however other people may think. Her life was in shambles, their money gambled away, furniture sold, all whilst keeping the image of a happy, wealthy family to all. Ever since birth, Madison was taught that her status was her only way to power, and she'd do anything to get it. But she didn't want power just for it. She wanted the power to fix the messed-up world she lived in, to give people like her, those who pretended, a chance to speak out. To not fall asleep to the sound of her father counting their dwindling money, to not wake up to scrub the house clean with her mother until their knuckles bled when people came round.
