Eleanor "Ellie" Miller is a typical and college-aged (and hopeless romantic) freshman. She studies (or tries to), binges Netflix, and does her best to stay out of trouble. Until one day, when she wakes up from her dream to realize she's in Silent Plains, Colorado - in 1873. Completely unsure of how or why she just time travelled, Eleanor needs to figure out quickly how to get back. It's almost midterms! Matthew Griffin is a U.S. Marshal, recently assigned to Silent Plains to bring in the leader of the Lager Gang, a man named Jack Fuller. When a young woman mysteriously shows up in town alone, Matthew becomes distracted from arresting Jack Fuller and the Lager Gang. Will he save the town from their dangerous antics? *Some of the chapter titles are plays on my favorite westerns, comment if you like them too! *Please please please let me know if there's spelling/grammar errors *Currently working on update schedule. probably 1x a week *Also there's violence, guns, alcohol and tobacco since it's a western (rated around PG to PG-13) *Added to Wattpad Time Travel reading list, Echoes of the Past! 10/31/23 https://www.wattpad.com/list/787043715-echoes-of-the-past-historical *3rd place in @YuZen04 's Book Contest (Romance Category) 12/12/23

🔸️ ONC 2021 Shortlist & Honorable Mention 🔸️ In 1884, an accusation of witchcraft sent Cade Pellar running to Wyoming. A decade later, he's accused again by his own mail-order bride. The problem for Cade is that the accusations are only false because of a technicality: His magic's not witchcraft. It's Cunning. But either way, semantics are the least of Cade's concerns. Problem #1 is Mrs. Nora Pellar and the magic in her touch. Problem #2 is the Pinkerton that's been resurrected from his past. Problem #3 is that to solve the first two, Cade needs to embrace his magic. Which leads to Problem #4: He'd sooner die than become a Cunning Man. || Primary Prompt: #22 || Secondary Prompt: #63 ||
