Which wasn't completely untrue. Shadow was called to be a spy in the palace. To eliminate the queen's oldest son. He was disguised as a knight and never knew who he was really after. After not being spared many details and rushed out the door. Neither knew each other was there until a sudden call changed everything.

Sonic always knew he was from a Royale family. Yet he never said anything to his friends back on Green Hill. Felt as if it would mess everything up. Felt as if they would treat him differently. That was until his biggest secret broke out..
