[Nine Lives of Deity] an unpublished novel, rejected by many publishing companies I've been, I give up and also labeled it as the worst novel I wrote. I died before I could rewrite the novel and regretted it on my last breath. however, when I opened my eyes, I found myself inside a different body, with a new name, inside a new world There I discovered I was inside the 'worst novel' and met 'Zyren' who is the main character of the story. The world I am standing in right now showed me many things that I have never experienced in my life on earth. Earth 2 - It's where we go when we die.
What happens when we die? We think to ourselves if we just knew that we would have peace of mind. One thing is for certain now, there is an afterlife. On Earth (e1) wars were fought and millions died defending their "truth." And then the greatest trick of all occurs: we die, we're reborn on Earth 2 (e2) and we still don't know a goddamn thing. From a philosophical standpoint it's even more disconcerting than not knowing. And so, the quintessential question on Earth 2 remains the same as it did on Earth: "What happens when we die?" It was a normal day for Y/N.. until you agree to help run a test that scientist are trying to do. They tell you that it's a new teleporting device. If it is successful, then this will change how people travel forever. You decide to be the first person to use it... However, it went horribly wrong. You pass out and wake up in a large neon city filled with strange humanoid creatures that appear to be animals... As if that wasn't bad enough.. You have to figure out where you are, and how to get back home.. but that won't be easy when people find out a new species just arrived in the city. I don't own any of the art used in the story. She fought, but in the end her heart won out and because she could not kill him, she simply trapped him. Forever. ____________________________________ I ran through the woods. The trees seemed to bend towards me. The farther I went, the darker the world seemed to get. The color also seemed to dim as I ran. But I didn't pay much attention to that. I finally came to a large clearing, near the center was an hourglass, it was made out of diamond. I walked up to it. It was so thick I could barley see inside, although I did see something inside. I reached out and touched the diamond, it seemed to melt away leaving glass. I then spotted a man about my age throwing fire at the walls. I screamed. Then I woke up.
