Ombretta has never cared for anyone who has a) created her and b)she has created.
She turned down the offer of becoming the Guardian of Live and Music as she did not care about either. Another role gets tossed up, Guardian of Nature and Nurture. Which, again she declines. Why? None of the Guardians ever cared for her so, why should she care for them?
Never once has she had wonder while opening presents, the hope of chocolate being delivered, the memories of getting money from her teeth, not even her long, sharp fangs.
The only Guardian she likes is the Guardian of dreams, he was never able to reach her mind as she was the heir to the Black throne but she could feel him trying.
