Genevieve Harrington loses her mother before she's even able to fully start her life and become the woman she always wanted to be. She couldn't prove to her mother that she created such a great daughter because she was gone to soon. Unfortunately, Genevieve was left to inherit the fame world from her mother, leaving her no longer protected because of a scandal being falsely promoted that her mother's death was actually her own fault. The scandal was made with assumptions because apparently she wasn't grieving enough. With something as crazy as that, her father had to look into finding protection for her and that happened to be 2 of the best bodyguards there is only problem was Genevieve way of grieving fell into her being a rebel and rebels tend to get what they want.
