Two girls go back in time to the Aztec empire. They both find themselves lost and trapped in this moment in time. Only way out is to win a game of Ollamalitzli, aka, the Aztec Ball Game. Only one of them knew the history of the place, but she barely knew anything about it. Can they survive?

"WAIT!!" The voice broke my silence. Panting was heard as she climbed up the hundreds of stairs to get to the top of the pyramid. "The gods..." Pant. "The gods have sent us here!" She said with a red face and sweat wetting her clothes. "Have they now?" The thick accent from above me said. "Yes! We can prove it. In a game of Ollamalitzli!" She said confidently. Ollama-what now?! Jennifer better not be playing right now... "Just let my friend go..." She said cautiously. "Game is tomorrow at the ninth hour of day. If you win, you don't die. You lose...and your hearts will be given to the gods."

She trip on a rocky out crop and stumble toward the ground, when someone steps in to catch her. "Whoa." Back in 2016 my girlfriend used to write a book on her own, she was the reason I ever started writing anything so I'd like to thank her for that and even go as far as dedicating this book to her, even though we aren't a part of each other's life anymore. I started writing this book back in 2016 and since then I improved a lot. There was a time in 2017 - 2018 when I gave up on this book but in 2019 I finally decided to pick it back up and finish it off. Epilogue updated on June 29th, 2019. I know it's not the best book of all time but I'm proud of finishing it, even though the story and writing style doesn't match me as a person anymore.
