She's just like any other 20 year old woman. Minus the fact that she's slowly losing her mind.. or so she thinks. It's normal to see your ears point, and have heightened senses, right?

Well, try explaining that to Linette Hendrix, whose world is falling apart. Since the ripe age of 17, Linette's mother and father have had fist fights, screaming matches and everything in between. Linette believes it's her fault, causing her to spiral. She still lives with them despite the emotional manipulation and the distress.

On her usual fishing trip, things go sideways, where she meets a dashing male, eyes so Amber they seem ablaze. After falling into the abyss that is he, Linette's world comes crashing faster than she ever could have imagined.
