After she escapes the warn torn nation the dark history of her homeland haunts her while she fights for survival, fleeing to Tal'Dorei. As a powerful and combat trained mage she is taken in by an assassins guild that quickly shows its true colors. She narrowly escapes from the guild, making a living pit fighting in taverns and taking odd jobs. Her life changes when she is discovered by a dark haired half-elf, with the promise of adventure and thrills she agrees to work with the infamous Vox Machina; a group of ragtag misfits. She embraces the life of a mercenary, and embraces her new found family - but there will be a price to pay. **I obviously do not own Critical Roll's characters!** **For the purpose of this story Mages will be a race instead of a class and there will be an ass load of made up history!**

Her hair of the same hue shimmered as if it was at war with the stars themselves. She was as beautiful as an ornate statue. There in lay the problem. Such an appearance, however beautiful; did not garner love, or warmth or anything of the kind. How could anyone want to be with a monster like her? Her skin was not soft or supple, her hands were not comfortable to hold. Zia was cursed, you could tell with just one look. Without even knowing the details of her tragic tale. When her friends get themselves kicked out of the last tavern in Tal'Dorei, Zia thinks that's it, the group would finally split and she would be alone, but when Scanlan finds an ad on a board they decide to give their partnership one last go. Of course, things only got more complicated from there. This fic will be Percy x OC! *Updates every Month (Not completed just don't want it to get deleted)
