"Juggie, I'm your fucking girlfriend! Betty's my fucking sister! How could you do something like this?" I asked him throwing every ounce of betrayal I felt into the words I said. Jughead looks to the ground, obviously guilty but not enough to spare my feelings.
"I think I love her, Lyn." I couldn't believe my ears.
"You love her? You love her?! Then what the fuck was I Jughead? What were the eleven fucking months that I've been at your beck-and-call, letting you fucking sleep in my bed when it was too cold at the Drive In, comforting you when you cried, BEING FUCKING THERE FOR YOU!" I was screaming, there were tears streaming down my face, it took everything that I had to keep my knees from giving out. I had given him eleven months of my time, of my energy, and he threw it in the trash...like it was nothing...like I was nothing.
"I'm sorry Lyn, I never meant for it to happen this way."
"Then how the hell did you mean for it to happen? Did you think I'd be okay with you breaking up with me for my twin sister?!" he didn't even answer, just stood there looking at me like he didn't know what to say, "Get out, get the fuck out, don't ever fucking talk to me again." He hesitated for a moment before quickly leaving my room, I stood there quietly until I heard the front door close downstairs, and then I collapsed...

"What is going on with you?" she practically yelled. I looked at her and shrugged. "Seriously, Juggie. You're so damn confusing. One minute you act like you hate me the next you are defending me and acting like you love me. You make no sense" she ranted. She glared at me and I chuckled. "I love it when you call me Juggie. It's hot" I said and she continued to glare at me in silence. "I didn't know what I wanted before. I do now" I said casually. "Really? And what is that?" She fumed. "You, baby." I smirked. Betty moved away years ago when her parents divorced. Her mother wanted a fresh start in New York. Everyone promised to keep in touch but, of course, they didn't. Only her cousin. Cheryl stuck by Betty. Betty survived though. She made new friends and her mother remarried making Veronica her sister and best friend. Jughead was broken when Betty left. Losing her changed him. As the years wore on, he became darker and cruel. He joined his Dad in the Serpents and truly loved the gang lifestyle. Archie felt hollow since Betty left. He distracted himself with football and girls and had earned himself quite a reputation. Betty and Veronica became best friends while they're mothers dated. They both embraced the New York party lifestyle. Betty changed from a sweet, quiet girl to a bit of a wild child but kept her heart of gold. That is, until Betty and Veronica move to Riverdale with their mothers. Jughead and Archie are shocked to see Betty again. One of them view her as a challenge, the other as prey. I know the ending of this episode was so disappointing so I am here to try to mend broken hearts like mine. Here is the Barchie storyline that we all deserve.
