Alice Margatroid is a dollmaker, a magician, and a youkai. She has built a quiet life for herself within the Forest of Magic. Between her dolls, garden, and research, she has almost everything she needs right there at her fingertips. The only thing she lacks is real companionship.
Eric is a café owner, a former outsider, and a human. He has made a new life for himself within the safety of the now bustling Human Village. Friendly and supportive, his ambitions are simple: Live a good life and make the people he cares about happy.
Fate has a plan for these two, bound together by red thread.
However, as the rains fail and the Human Village grows restless, it only takes a single spark to ignite an inferno.

Kaveh smiled a little at the question, almost letting out a chuckle, "You're being awfully nice." He says as his voice trails off at the last words. "Should I be concerned?" All his family members were ether missing or dead, not like he cared since he wasn't close to most of them... except for one, his younger sister, he was on a quest to find her ever since he knew about her disappearance, he searched everywhere and even employed help at times. He was somewhat of a shut-in. The only thing ever making him leave his apartment was the occasional trips to restock for groceries, hence why he employed help. One day he was walking back home from one of those trips when he suddenly gets shot, in broad daylight, in the streets. Forgotten, but not broken
A man wakes up, without most of his memories about his life and how he got here. All he knows for sure, is that he needs to get out of the place he is being held and figure out what the new world around him has to offer. Will he survive? Will he ever remember his past? Who knows. After all... he may be Forgotten, but he is yet to be broken. Note: This is my first story, I have no idea what I am doing and I can say for certain that I will most likely get the character personalities wrong at times.
