"Sammy, what's the real meaning?" "to never leave the person you love, or hurt them. ever." in which, it's been two years since Sam and Carl had started dating, the two were now inseparable. Sam basically lived with his boyfriend at his house, he would help with chores, play with Judith and help Carl with anything he needed. Sam only had to leave to go help his siblings or other things sometimes. And those 'other things' are what Carl had never thought Sam would do.. what is the real meaning of love? is it fake? is it not real love at all? who knows.. Y/N had never stayed in one place for long, Her life after the world fell apart had been a constant cycle of survival-keep moving, stay quiet, trust no one. But arriving in Alexandria was different. It was a chance to stop running, to rebuild some semblance of a life, even if the walls felt too pristine, too safe. She didn't expect to catch the attention of Daryl Dixon-the man who seemed just as wary of newcomers as she was of this place. He was rough around the edges, with sharp eyes that missed nothing and a quiet intensity that made people tread carefully around him. At first, their interactions were brief-gruff nods, silent observations. But there was something about Y/N, something in the way she carried herself, that made him pause. She wasn't like the others. She didn't try too hard to fit in, didn't sugarcoat the realities of the world outside these walls. Daryl saw the way she scanned the exits, how she positioned herself in a room to always have a quick way out. He understood it-hell, he lived it. Maybe that was why he found himself drawn to her, watching over her in ways she didn't even realize. And maybe, just maybe, Y/N wasn't as alone as she thought she was anymore
