Issei is asked by Rias about what she is to him. When she doesn't receive the desired response, she becomes angry and confronts him, along with their group of friends. Even his childhood friend joins in, making Issei feel hurt and betrayed. Their hurtful words push Issei to his breaking point. He decides to leave everyone permanently, removing his pawn pieces and declaring that they will never see him again. Issei then teleports to an unknown location. Little does he know, this is not the end but the beginning of a new and exciting adventure. From being known as the 'hero of the underworld and being a devil,' Issei now has the potential to become a hero for all and the leader of The Yokai.
