A great evil is coming. Unknown pasts are brimming beneath the brine. A village cursed by a shrine. More and more things are getting out of control. The mages and monarch cannot control all of it. A young mage is caught in the midst of chaos. Feeling a powerful pull from the village and the shrine, he sets out to discover the pull, only to discover it wasn't the shrine, but something so much more fearful. Also discovering strange pups living close to the village, he sets out to uncover the village's past.
On the other side of the Land, 2 pups with an ever growing curiosity also set out to become soldiers for their town. During their adventure, they're gray red by a shadow that follows them everywhere, slowly, but surely, leading them closer to the shrine, their fear pushing them forwards, including their curiosity to discover a wolf's mysterious intentions, and to discover the young mage's identity.
Bit they never seem to realise that the shadow is grouping them together for the end. The end of the world...

I don't know how to explain it but it felt as though my brain was tearing in two, like my head was cracking open. When the pain stopped, I found myself surrounded by wolves, the shifted pups.
