Madeline Grace lives in Portland, Maine, where she's done a good job at keeping to herself and running her family-owned bookstore. But when a racing legend, Formula 1 driver Cal Hartford, selects her town at random as his hideout until his next race, in a month, she can't seem to shake him from her side. And, eventually, she realizes he's got more to him than it seems.
Based on "Cars" (yes, Cal is the Lightning McQueen of this story), A Racing Romance is fun, smutty, and actually has plot. And a badass female mc :)

On hold until I figure out how to approach Cars 2. Female reader as always! Doing this because I've always loved McQueen as a CHARACTER. NOT AS A CAR. Thats why I'm making him HUMAN. McQueen is a racer new to the racing scene, but his irresponsibility, cockiness, and huge ego makes it seem like he doesn't deserve the pleasure. (Y/N) has always wanted to be a racer but isn't allowed to be, and she truly deserves the honor. (Y/N) really doesn't like McQueen, but in the end he just might be the ticket to finally becoming a racer like she's always dreamed of. And who knows, maybe McQueen really isn't that bad.

Chloe is a 9 year old girl in Creek of Angels Orphanage. Her parents died when she was only a baby. The crazy guard of the orphanage, Mrs Nelson, abuses Chloe for her own pleasure. Chloe does chores and stays in her room everyday. She doesn't get to have fun like the other kids. For years she has been adopted, but also brought back. The families only wanted her for slave reasons. Chloe loves to watch the Piston Cup races and watch her favorite racer, Lightning McQueen. Once she hears that he's coming to her orphanage to adopt, she prays that he'll be the one. The one who would be her hero to save her from this prison. Her prayers come true; she's adopted by McQueen. But Mrs Nelson threatened that if Chloe ever came back, she would suffer the consequences. Will Chloe love her new life? Or will she be brought back and spend the rest of her life suffering and rotting in an orphanage?Complete

I'm not telling you who he is, you'll have to figure out that yourself until the chapter comes out. Which I hope won't be long. I've been taking notes on the key details in the movies that are helpful and have done research on things that might have the movie if they were humans, the words in the story maybe different but it's still the same thing. Both Lightning McQueen and the reader are now 23 and 22 years old. The movie takes four years later after the first movie.Complete
