Erica Spark has been unique one ever since she moved to Jasper, Nevada and became close friends with a trio of misfits named Jack, Miko, and Raf. They have became a unique bunch and talk of the school. The school bully, Vince, son of Silas, has his eye on Erica since day one and will do anything to get what he wants. 
But even the ordinary has a way to become the extraordinary. What happens when an ordinary event leads her to descover an entire alien race? One day, the group stumbled upon beings unlike they have never seen before. They're metal titans, but under a curse. The curse was cast on the leader who was turned into a beast and was never to roam free like his friends, but the curse can only be lifted by an act of true love and loyalty. 
Could someone ever learn to love a beast?

Alias is an unusual girl. She doesn't remember who she was when she was younger, her first memory was as a 6 year old, stumbling through the woods into an old abandoned barn, wounded and weak. This is where she meets the equally confused Cybertronian, who she named Nickname. As they grow up and learn about the world around them, they realize that the world is a horrible place. And while Nickname has the Decepticons chasing him, Alias has a group of human sized metal warriors that seem endless and relentless chasing her. (Later revealed by Ratchet as power hunters from early Cybertron.) Oh, and did she mention her metal wings? No, oh well... Once they meet the Autobots though, they seem to have found their peace, until they decide to help the Autobots of course. I mean, after Alias tries to kill them. Megatron isn't a very nice fellow per usual, and he had already stumbled upon the bounty hunters chasing Alias and claimed himself their lord and master.
