As Maria learns to accept that maybe she and Gaku weren't meant to be, she rediscovers love in two different ways: in her newfound family, and the baby that's growing in her.
For years, she hides Seigi from his father, with the help of her little brother, Haruka, who was as keen as protecting her and the boy from any and all harm.
Yet, as all secrets are meant to be uncovered, Gaku finds out about their son.
