"Cyno," Kaveh said suddenly, and with a bit of sharpness. "What's going on?"

"Do you know where Al-Haitham is, right now?" Cyno asked.

Kaveh leaned back in his chair, his anger fading some from such a simple question. "Of course I do. He's here working his shift somewhere."

Cyno only stared.

"What?" Kaveh pressed, his red-hot temper flaring up again. He hated when people would beat around the bush, especially when the situation seemed dire. But this wasn't a dire situation, was it?

It couldn't be.

Or, in which Al-Haitham finds himself trapped in a strange mechanism, and Kaveh's world gets turned upside down. They face the realities of their relationship, of themselves and each other, and find their way back home.
