Everyone smiled and for a moment they all had forgotten about their suits of armour. For a moment they were all themselves. Helpless romantics. Edgier wizards. Unique witches. 

Magical people. 

Drusilla felt herself well up looking at all her friends. But one stood out to her more than most, at least in this moment. Draco. He tries so hard to prove to others that he's mean and cruel that hardly anyone see's the softness. The vulnerability. It wasn't her job to try and help him or- fix him. But she couldn't help but gaze into his eyes hopelessly. Almost giving up her own soul for him. A perfect match they would be. If only they would let themselves be together. For now they would gaze at each other when they could. Like looking at the eyes of the moon. 

Too afraid to look at each other too long. For then one would have to accept the truth.

This story follows Drusilla Heywood a fifth year Slytherin who was raised by Severus Snape. Full of fire and softness. With lots of different friends from different houses, relationships and drama. This tale is filled with romance and a sense of calming dark academia.
