Dean scowled at the elder Dixon as he swatted at the man, the brunet's attention drawn to Rick when the man clapped a hand onto his shoulder.

"Ya say it's from your brother, how do ya know? What does it mean?" The man inquired, his expression grim.

"Means drop everything and run. Sammy and I came up with the code when we were teenagers, we're the only ones left that know it." Dean assured, pointedly nodding at the hidden message in question.

There was no way that Sam would ever share their code with anyone he didn't trust with not only his own life, but also Dean's.
