There once was one big clan, CrystalClan, but one high moon there was a terrible fire that killed most of the clan and split up the survivors. They made LilacClan, RoseClan, DustClan, and CloudClan. Little do they know there is a great evil lurking in the dark.

Paired with slowly falling hopelessly in love with a cat who never is clear with her, breaking free of her dark insides is seeming harder and harder. If she can't do it, then she'll never be able to see the face of good again. She'll be another apprentice gone wrong, and all she'll be remembered for is darkness. Sunpaw can't let that happen. Rockpaw feels like an outcast, everyday being hated on by his Clanmates for seeing things differently. So when the chance to prove them wrong comes up, he doesn't give it a second thought. But the evil still resides, and Rockpaw might know more about it then he's letting on, even to himself. Greyshard, as a former kittypet, has always thought of life in the Clans as challenging.
