'Wilting Death'. An infamous serial killer known by all. The victims are identified by the carving of a wilting rose and the engraving of 'WRSBID' on their backs and a note in their mouth. Known to have 100+ found and reported kills, she is known as the embodiment of a Reaper. Most of her victims were known to have committed some degree of offense ranging fro harassment and abuse to theft and murder. Most of them that is. People fear this person as this killer is known to kill random people at times and the way she gruesomely puts one to death brings a shiver down one's spine.
Marcus Thorn is a respected officer known for his bravery and selflessness. He has been honoured with the 'Medal of Valor' for his brave, selfless feats for justice. Under his juridiction, the crime rate of the area has gone down 16%, but despite this, neither him nor his team is able to track down the infamous 'Wilting Death' and their allies. One day, Marcus gets an email from.....'Wilting Death' ?!?! An invitation to meet up at a remote location...alone. Just a meet up? Smells like an obvious trap. But astonishingly, a phrase reminds him of something from his past.
