Perfect Storm

Alfie White is a 17 year old kid just trying to get through with life and be happy, but that is kind of hard when you are the only openly gay kid in school who is trying to understand their sexuality and having a hard time adjusting, who is constantly being harrassed by people in the hallways, on your own team, and have to go home to a distant mother that pretends everything is normal and fine, but really she wants nothing to do with him. A dad who ran from his own family to chase after a single mother.

Quinn Cooper is the school's local Idol. He is a straight A-student, the student body president, and the team's leader, he is the kid everyone in school looks up to and wants to be, but there are some things he would rather keep to himself. His home life is over bearing with loving parents who push him to his limits, who expect to much from him, someone who is in constant pressure and always being second best to his parent's eyes.
