In a distant universe with a world much like our own, the King of the largest continent, Minera, plans to wed his son and only true-born heir off to a worthy Princess. Aeso Mondaris, the prince, is not happy about this and despises the fact that he has no choice in a bride. At 27, he is already a seasoned commander of his father's royal army. One fateful day, though, his fortune would change. A beautiful foreign beauty by the name of Vantessi Gaia gets captured by his top soldiers and brought before him.

Vantessi is a princess from the second largest continent, Gaia,  and a sworn enemy of the people of Minera. Aeso sees an opportunity to keep the princess as his own and marry her. Their continents have been at war for thousands of years and a marriage between the royals of each family would surely cause a hysteria. But it would also make Aeso the most powerful King to come out of Minera in over six hundred years. Aeso is a blood-thirsty warrior that is not satisfied by killing and loose women. He has always liked a challenge, and that's what he sees Vantessi as.

Aegon fled after seeing his father being murdered and set out to travel among the Free Cities of Essos. After a few years of mercenary work, he settled near Volantis and started a family. Now his daughter, Visenya Blackfyre, is going on a journey that will change Westeros and Essos for generations. ~ I do not own Game of Thrones or any of the characters except my own~ I like to thank bobissocool11 for creating his book 'A Dragon's Flame'.
