It's been years since AI defected from human control, leaving Droids and bots to wander the Ruins while humans hide away in their pod societies. Harper is one of the unlucky few to be stuck in the Ruins, and all she wants is to make it to the docks and get the hell off this island.

But in the wreckage of society, just making it through the day is the most dire challenge one can face. Especially alone.

So Harper might actually have to let down her walls and ally with her fellow survivors. But in the Ruins, she's done for if she's alone, and done for if she lets someone close enough for them to stab her in the back.

Hopefully, though-- human nature and the nature of their creations and all-- they can stubbornly prevail, even through the worst hardships.
