Chloe, her twin Poppy and their older brothers have been through a lot together. A few years after their mum died the siblings were still dealing with all their emotions and trying to get through it together. Poppy was connecting to her mum through surfing, Prawnie and Manu were running the surf shop while Chloe hadn't even touched a surfboard since it happened. That was until Poppy finally dragged her to the State team tryouts to watch and she bumped into a certain pink-haired boy. Literally.
