"Keep telling yourself you aren't like us Anthony. I wonder how far that will get you." The rain pours down onto us now, my jacket does little to keep the water out as it cascades down my back. Thunder rolls in the distance, I can feel the rumble in my chest.

I clench my jaw in anger as Nicholas turns to walk away.

"Keep yourself in check Anthony." Nicholas pauses, stopping in his tracks. "Don't forget what you owe."

Nicholas' final words instill a feeling of dread in me. What I owe... How could I forget?

When Anthony finds himself caught up in gangs, drugs and alcohol. He realizes he has lost the only light in his life.

A/N I'm planning on releasing chapters every few weeks. I'm writing in my off time but this story is something I want to continue writing in. I'm very inspired by the mystery and the slow burn love story, I hope you enjoy it as well!
