Leaving them unconscious and uncared for. People began calling him dangerous, but he got the job done and that was all that mattered.
Peter Parker, on the other hand? He became more reserved. More cautious about who he befriended, and made sure they never got too close. He didn't want anyone hurt because of him. He stopped caring about crushes, close friends, and people around him. That was until she came along.

"All I've ever wanted was for us to get along," he scolds. "And it seems like every time we make any kind of progress, you push me away." I scoff and look over at him. I'm surprised to see tears in his eyes. He steps back toward the bedroom. "Maybe we shouldn't talk for a while. Clearly, we need to figure our shit out."
