"Primrose Everdeen!"

Everything seems to freeze as people shuffle out a path for me. People start murmuring unhappily as they do when a twelve year old is reaped. I ball my hands into fists and start to take small, stiff steps up to the stage.

"Prim!" A strangled cry comes out of the crowd.

"Prim!" My sister rushes across the path people have cleared out for me. She tucks me behind her before i was able to walk up to the dilapidated wooden stage.
