The summer of 1984 is anything but normal for Hawkins' resident band of Freaks. After Will Beyer's disappearance and subsequent back in November, Mads has kept a low profile, biding her time until she can destroy the Lab and the link between her and 001's minds for good. Then a new boy moves to Hawkins and turns Mads' world upside down. As summer fades to autumn, love and heartbreak also upends all the Punks lives, and threatens to destroy their friendship. When the unthinkable happens, they are forced to stick together to fight back the evil that escaped into this world nearly a year prior.
