The wind was like knives, ripping at any piece of loose fabric. I covered my head with my arms as it suddenly stopped and instead was replaced with gentle swooshes of air. I pulled my arms away slowly, casting a curious glance on the figure in front of me. Giant wings sprouted from the back of the man in front of me, markings covered his bare back surrounding the torn skin. He turned, watching me with an unreadable expression. His eyes seemed to glow and his voice was one of pure strength and power. “It would be in your best interest to get out of here.”
