Hundreds of years pass and Sonic is still alive,out-living his friends and Dr.Eggman.
Now working as a bounty hunter to still fulfill the title as "hero", Sonic lives in a futuristic cyber-city.
Shadow wishes to gather all seven chaos emeralds but the only way to do that is with Sonics help. Sonic agrees to help shadow as the two come across bandits, scavengers/explorers, police and bounty hunters.
How will they get the emeralds through all this chaos?

Worse than Black Doom or anyone they fought before. Mephiles The Dark has return with new powers and sinister allies that could destroy what Sonic, and everyone been fighting for. Before they could start their search on Chaos Emeralds and fight Mephiles again, the Master Emerald glows up and spoke to them. He told them to find someone who would help them to defeat Mephiles and everything will be restored. Before they could ask, the Master Emerald glows up and teleporting the entire world of Sonic to another world. A mysterious yet magical world where mirrored their world but differently. That's where they meet new allies with special abilities and other creatures as the search for the Chaos Emeralds again who was got spread away. Will they find the person they are looking for and stop Mephiles from destroying everything? (This story is based on Sonic Prime and Sonic X Shadow Generations).
