FORBIDDEN LOVE

Career has always been my top priority. Love never counted as one. I accepted every condition that my family has put up with me, just so that I could be here. I am not going to throw it away. Not for love. NEVER for love.

Yet when I look at him, it feels like every flower in my heart has blossomed. My whole body feels like a garden that I would love to water my entire life. Adrenaline kicks in. And I drown in his ocean-deep blue eyes.

He is just my best friend. That's what I tell myself. I feel this way because he has always helped me. Lies. All lies. Love triumphs over everything.

But he is that prize that I can never win. And even if I do, he will be snatched away. Risks are many but I have my eyes only on him.
