Eiden's got a few friends locked up in the sky box. Fact is, she should be there herself. But luckily she's got just the bestest best friend on the Ark... except that she's approaching her 18th birthday.

Since her friend will be floated soon, emotions rise, and Eiden does something pretty damn stupid.

Now she's on the ground - Earth, that is - along with 99 other prisoners and a really hot guy who shouldn't be there at all.

Faced with the perils of a planet 97 years after our ancestors fucked up the world, Eiden's got to learn to deal with everything despite the shit-show going on on the ground.

By the way, I'm Bex, and I just learned all of this like 20 minutes ago.

Was that good?

My eyes were literally glowing, there was no mistaking it. It was not a reflection of light, or any of the other excuses I had used or others had assumed. They were glowing a light sapphire blue color. It was not a bright glow, but it was definitely a glow. Glowing eyes were not normal. Okay, at this point I had to admit it, I was no longer normal.
