Every night, the sounds of wisps in the air travel through the villages, running on roofs and breezing through the dark streets. Shrieks and screams can be heard as vampires drain the blood of those caught off guard. These vampires travel through the night, in search of delectable prey roaming in the dark with their blood red eyes glistening under the moonlight.

Although all vampires bear red blood eyes, there is one family whose eyes are the color of glass blue. Heliosinclaire is their house name. Their calm and gentle nature was well known in vampire society. They were known as the purebloods, ones who created the vampire lineage and also ones who created disagreements between the vampires.

As gentle as they are, they are also known to treat humans kindly, which created tension between those who hunt and those who do not. Sadly, the Heliosinclaires were burned in a fire, spreading throughout their estate. Only one Heliosinclaire remained, eyes glass blue and full of grief. His name was Eugene.

Eugene Heliosinclaire accompanied his friends one night and smelled a peculiar human.

 Ariel was her name. She was a human with the same glass blue eyes as his.
