now seeing this the villagers thought Kami was doing them a favor and answering their prayers to kill Naruto.
unfortunately, however it's the other way around.
the lightning didn't kill Naruto, but instead it made him something far more dangerous than his father's flying raijin jutsu. it turned Naruto into a speedster.
