Achilleas and his friends are studying at the Royal Holloway University. Having obtained a scholarship, he studies English literature. With his girlfriend Kallisto who gets sicker by the minute, he makes some friends by stumbling upon them at a cafe. Achilleas, Roxhanna, Sebastian, and Olivia are all frequent at the same cafe. As we look at each and every one of their lives with personal pov, we see Alexios create meet-up chapters where all of these characters meet at certain points in time and discuss the new advancements in their life. Moments of life, times of sadness, the imminent future of death, and a persevering thought of overcoming all and just being.
