Derry had always been a place of whispers and rumors, but Lexi didn't care about that. She was more concerned about fitting in-or rather, about not fitting in. Her new school was full of the same cliques and boring people she couldn't care less about, but that all changed when she met him. Henry Bowers. He was trouble, dangerous, and the last thing Lexi wanted to get involved with, but there was something about him. His rugged appearance, the way he carried himself like he owned the world, it intrigued her. He wasn't like the other kids. He was wild, like her, and there was an unspoken understanding between them.  Lexi soon discovered that there was more to Derry than she could have imagined. She wasn't just a troubled teen with a temper. She had gifts-powers she never understood.
