Like all of us surely have, thirteen-year-old Malcolm Bennett has seen the way love is glamorized in film and literature, not to mention the overwhelming euphoria that seems to emanate from his own parents. Yet unfortunately, over time that euphoria begins to fade, and in its wake remains a lot of doubt and unanswered questions. If his own parents' love was able to fade, how powerful can this "unbreakable feeling" that everyone seems to boast about truly be?
Well, Malcolm is on a mission! After Malcolm's science teacher, Mr. Jacobs, assigns all his students a year-long project asking them to conduct an experiment of their choosing and present their findings, Malcolm is provided with an appropriate outlet to seek out the answers he is so desperately looking for. He decides to embark on his very own love experiment, with the primary goal being to secure his very first girlfriend, and hopefully experience this magical feeling of love firsthand.
While going through last years' yearbook, Malcolm is able to seek out three suitable candidates for his experiment, effectively initiating his courtship efforts. But will Malcolm truly be able to find love this way? And how will these girls react when the truth behind Malcom's efforts is finally revealed to them?

READ FULL BEFORE STARTING THE STORY:
TW: This book is written lightly, but has also some really serious themes that I want you to know about before reading. It talks about abuse and there are some scenes where a character is having a panic attack. If this is too close for you and you don't feel comfortable reading things like that then It might be best to not start reading /genuine <3
I want you to know before reading that this is a book with a good ending! I'm saying this because I know how devastating it is for some people after reading a story all night. If you've made it this far, thank you for reading! Much hugs to everyone:)
