A couple decides to go on a hiking trip to the beautiful cascades to get away from the stress of their everyday life. They have five days to enjoy the stunning nature and the company of each other. However, on the Copper Ridge trail, nothing is as it seems. Secrets comes to life and when they meet a mysterious lone hiker, they will soon find out that the secrets of the mountains would have been better left untouched. A halloween short story/oneshot.

Ten years later, she catches something strange flicker between the gold and copper pines. Fighting between trauma and curiosity, she chooses to investigate. Which brings her to Jack. A ghost with unfinished business. Reluctant, she agrees to help him. Together, they find the pumpkin prairie. A place Casper vowed never to go back to. -- I haven't decided how long to make this story yet. I was originally planning for it to be a short story. But now I'm thinking that perhaps it would suit a novel more. The other book I'm writing I took a break from because I feel so torn on the plot. I will go back to it after this. Also I plan to draw my own cover for this story. What's up currently is just a filler. 🖤

After a tragic event, nine teenagers return for a winter getaway in Greyridge Woods in hope to help a suffering friend but they soon discover that somebody is after them, is it revenge for their mistakes that led to a fatal accident? Karma? Or is it simply for the thrill to kill? Only four will see the light of dawn. Who will it be?
