After the devastating virus that almost wiped out Korea,things are starting to normalise. The surviving group of students, Lee Su-Hyeok , Nam On-Jo, Jang Ha-Ri, Park Mi-Jin, Yang Dae-Su, and Seo Hyo-Ryung, go back to their school,or at least what remained of it, longing to see Nam-Ra after they catch a glimpse of a campfire while still on the quarantine camp. They reunite with Nam-Ra after about 4 months separated,who's now feeling better even though still remaining a half-zombie. After some short moments together,Nam-Ra jumps off the rooftop to reunite with a group of other halfbies right after promising her friends that she'll be back,leaving them staring in shock after her.

The surviving friends,are now starting to live in Bucheon, 23 km from a now partly destroyed Seoul. But chaos starts to spread again at an abnormal rate after the virus starts re-spreading in Bucheon and other cities. Another hellish nightmare follows the group who try to stay alive as scientists desperately try to find a cure for the now evolved z-virus.
