This City Never Sleeps At Night - Book 1(?) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Being a vigilante is not for the faint of heart. Tommy knows this better than almost anyone. Not only do you have the law after you, you also have both heroes and villains after your ass. Tommy doesn't know which one he hates more. Oh yeah, and there's other vigilantes, including his two closest friends and roommates: Ranboo and Tubbo. Without them, he'd be lost. Hell, he might still be on the streets. But instead, he lives in a dingy apartment with Ranboo and Tubbo, runs from the SBI every night, and lowers the crime rate by nearly 50%. Poggers. Persephone barely remembers her life before her adoptive parents. All she really remembers is explosions, the smell of blood, and TNT. She doesn't know how she got to Lumeneria. She doesn't remember anyone who was in her life. But she does remember being picked up off the streets by two worried-looking adults with red paint(?) on their clothes. And her life isn't exactly normal. Her parents are fucking VIGILANTES! And she wants to be just like them. But when Dream strikes and two trios of valiant vigilantes meet, new alliances will have to be formed in order to survive. But who's really behind Dream's mask? What secrets does he keep? Wilbur was a hero, the second best hero to be exact. And it was his job to protect everyone that resided in his beloved city. Everything was perfect for the hero, he had a lovely father and two brothers, he had his friends, and he even had a boyfriend who he loved more than life itself! Wilbur loved his work to keep his city safe, but there was always someone trying to prevent that. Sometimes it was large villains who killed and killed, other times it was a simple thief. Sometimes, it was a shapeshifting villain who liked scarring others and ruining lives. Sometimes it was a villain who helped unlock hidden powers yet was insane enough to fight in a burning, collapsing building. Because that night, Wilbur fought alongside a way-too-young-and-way-too-familiar vigilante and his family against a famous villain with an ability so powerful it seemed fake. The world was never have been ready for Shift in the first place, Shift was the villain who's identity was so secret no one had a single lead to go attempt to catch them. In a forgotten world full of heroes, villains, and vigilantes, a world that had neither a good or bad ending, or maybe no ending at all. Who knows? Tommy is a vigilante known as BigInnit, the powerless hero. What happens when people find out about his powers, and he has to get a job for the heroes. Will the heroes find him out or will the villains take him to their side first. Warning: This story does have swearing and some gore.
