When you really think about it, everyone on this Earth is seeking some sort of inner peace. Whether that be through destructive methods, trying to find love, etc. We all just want to feel that peace, and everyone's is different. Now, this doesn't mean that everyone's peace is morally correct... no, not at all. That's not what this book is for, not in the slightest. As of writing this, I feel like this story will do a good job at encapsulating the feeling of always striving for inner peace. This motif is actually why I picked this title. It's a Japanese term from Zen Buddhism that means sudden enlightenment and awakening. I think this word was perfect for my story.

Honestly, this whole fictional universe started off as a way for me to escape my life when I was in 8th grade. Actually, it still is to this day. But now, it's also something so much more important to me. These characters are real to me, and some of them I strive to be like. It will be really awkward if I'm gassing this up to just be shit, so I'm going to really take my time on this one. This is my passion project, so I intend to make it as good as possible.
