During the Battle for UA, Midoriya Izuku was killed. He had barely managed to pass One For All to his classmate, Bakugo Katsuki. After that, it was just a game of cat and mouse for any surviving hero and any holder of One for All. The quirk was passed on one more time before it made its way to Eri 5 years after the death of Midoriya. At the age of 12, she made it her life goal to defeat the monstrosity that was All For One, even if she had to leave everything she knew behind in order to do it.
For four years, Eri trained on I-island in preparation for Operation Antithesis, a plan to train Eri and give her all the power she needed in order to secure a future once she was sent back in time. In four years, she was able to unlock the full potential of One For All. So one the fateful day when All For One attacked I-island, Eri was ready to rewind
