But the god of war needs a soldier. She needs him. The boy with hair like midnight and eyes that take in her soul. 
She needs his promises that they belong together and nothing can separate them. She needs his words just as much as he needs her. As he pledges allegiance to his King, letting her know that since that first meeting of eyes- fate had created their story.
