Darby Watterson is unhappy with how her life is going. Everything just seems to be going wrong all the time. When one more bad thing happens, she snaps. She leaves home, a teenager alone on the road. She just has to escape and get away. Then she meets Dustin. He is also alone among strangers, but the two part ways, only to find each other again. As Darby and Dustin travel, they may reach an end to their journey, and they may find out that they wish for the same things, but end up with unintended consequences; they may end up dead. Will these two teenagers find their escapes, or will they go too far, and lose everything they never knew they had until they can't reach it any longer?
