The two start talking, and eventually, Kaz remembers a rumor he heard about the possibility of opening a dimensional portal within the dream, through a specific ritual. Upon hearing this, Lynn dares him to do said ritual. Kaz does it, and to the surprise of both, a portal is actually opened. It doesn't take long for them to challenge each other into entering the portal.
