A comfortable silence engulfed the air, as he absorbed what I had said. Unsure of how he would respond, I began to fiddle with my thumbs. His soft chuckle, and the caress of his warm hand against my cheek caused me to stop and give him my full attention.
"That's precisely why I'm constantly taking photographs of you, and of the things we do, the places we go; of us, because when you regain your sight, you'll be able to witness and relive our relationship."
